The Staff and Community completed a first aid course on Saturday 3 February at the Hub, hosted by The First Academy, accredited by the Department of Labour. Candidates received basic first aid training of CPR, wound dressing, fracture management and choking prevention techniques. The course was attended by 20 candidates who were empowered with the vital skills of saving a life and will be certified in CPR for 3 years. A proud moment for the affiliate sister organisation, Boorhaanol school teachers, who have the honoured task of taking care of little ones in the Bo Kaap Community. Congratulations to all candidates for stepping up to saving a life.
