Bo-Kaap Cultural Hub recently hosted the annual Ramadan Orphans program on Saturday 16 March 2024 in providing meals and uplifting spiritual programs to 71 orphans and their 16 caregivers from across the Cape Peninsula. Traditional cape malay foods were offered for Iftar along with soups, savouries and meals donated by local businesses. Goody bags filled with treats and gifts were issued to the children, also sponsored by generous donors. The Boorhaanol Islam movement extends their sincere gratitude and appreciation to everyone involved and for their contributions towards making the event a memorable success for the children.
